Kyle McCarter is a Republican member of the Illinois State Senate. McCarter was first appointed to the Illinois Senate in November of 2009. McCarter won election in November of 2010 with his term expiring in 2015[1].

McCarter graduated with his Bachelor's degree from Oral Roberts University in Accounting. In addition to being a Senator, McCarter is a small business owner.
