Drops gun during committee meeting

Tasker did not face any charges, but raised a number of eyebrows after he accidentally dropped his gun on the floor during the beginning of a meeting of the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee on March 20. The gun did not fire and Tasker explained that he had donated blood that morning and was feeling "loopy" at the time.[6]
