L. Gary Knight (b. July 26, 1944) is a Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 81 since 2006. Knight ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 81.

Knight worked as Executive Vice President/Senior Trust Officer, Androscoggin Trust and Investment Services from 1999-2006. He has also served as President of the Livermore Falls Trust Company, Director of Livermore Bankshares, and an Adjunct Professor of Business at the University of Maine at Farmington.

Knight is President of the Tri-town Medical Foundation, Moderator of West Area Baptist Churches, Chair of the Committee of Invested Funds - First Baptist Church, Trustee/Member of the Finance Committee - American Baptist Churches of Maine, and Director of the Livermore Falls Betterment Committee.[1]

Knight won re-election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 81. Knight ran unopposed in the June 12 Republican primary and defeated Maurice Castonguay (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
