Lacey Putney is a Independent member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 19 since 1962.

He won re-election in 2009, defeating Lewis Medlin, Jr. and William Smith in general election.

A lawyer by trade, Putney has been involved with many organizations, including the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, Bedford Baptist Church, Boy Scouts of America, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.[1]
