A Lakeville School District Bond Measure will be on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the Lakeville school district, which is in Genesee County.

This measure seeks to issue a bond in the amount of $7.58 million in order to help pay for upgrading technology, refurnishing, reequipping and remodeling buildings as well as purchasing new buses for the district.[1]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall LakeVille Community Schools, County of Genesee, State of Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed $7,580,000 and issue its unlimited tax general obligation bonds therefore, for the purpose of defraying all or part of the cost of: Improving, remodeling, equipping, furnishing, reequipping, and refurnishing existing district school buildings and existing sites, acquiring and installing security systems at existing district school buildings, constructing enclosed walkway additions to Columbiaville Elementary School and LakeVille Memorial High School which would also include renovation of the athletic facilities thereon and equipping for technology and technology infrastructure, and purchasing buses?[2]
