Larry Barker (b. March 31, 1946) is a Democratic member of the West Virginia House of Delegates. He has represented District 18 since 2004 and currently serves as an Assistant Majority Whip. Barker has served as Chief Deputy County Clerk for Boone County since 1982.

Barker attended Bob Jones University in 1965.

Barker was a Sergeant E-5 in the West Virginia Army National Guard from 1965 to 1971. He then worked as a part-time employee for WZAC, FM Radio from 1981 to 2004.[1]

Barker is running for re-election to the West Virginia House of Delegates District 18. He is one of two candidates running for the one District 18 Delegate position on the ballot in the November 2, 2010 general election. He is opposed by Democrat Jim Marion. [2]

2008

In 2008 Barker was re-elected to the West Virginia House District 18. Barker (D) ran unopposed and finished with 5,282 votes.[3] Barker raised $17,628 for his campaign fund.[4]
