Larry J. Obhof, Jr. (b. November 26, 1977) is a Republican member of the Ohio State Senate, representing District 22. He was first appointed to the chamber on February 1, 2011 to replace Bob Gibbs (R), who was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.[1] Currently he is serving as Majority Whip.

Biography

Obhof received a B.A. in Economics, History and Political Science from Ohio State University. He obtained his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2003. Obhof is a practicing attorney and an Adjunct Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
