LaFramboise along with the VoteKISS party believed in political reforms which would restrict campaign spending, implement term limits, make bills shorter and easier to understand as well as implement various rights for citizens.[2]

She faced John MacGovern (R), Cris Ericson (United States Marijuana Party), incumbent Bernie Sanders (I), Pete Diamondstone (Liberty Union), and Peter Moss (Peace and Prosperity) in the general election on November 6, 2012. [3] Sanders won re-election.[1]
