Leland Christensen is a Republican member for District 17 of the Wyoming State Senate. Christensen was first elected in 2010. Prior to his election to the senate, Christensen was elected to two terms as a Teton County Commissioner.[1]

A retired law enforcement officer, Christensen served for fifteen years in the National Guard and with the 19th Special Forces Group in the U.S. Army, and has most recently worked as an auctioneer.
