A Lenawee County Medical Facility Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in Lenawee County.

This measure sought to renew the current medical care facility levy which is set at a rate of $.18 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further six years in order to continue to pay for operational and maintenance costs of the care facility in the county.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall the limitation of the amount of property taxes which may be assessed each year against all taxable real and personal property in Lenawee County be increased by not more than 0.1896 of a mill (0.1896 cents per $1000 of taxable value) for a period of six (6) years, December 1, 2012, to November 30, 2018, inclusive, to provide funds for the operation, maintenance and capital costs of the Lenawee Medical Care Facility and shall Lenawee County levy the millage for this purpose thereby raising an estimated $600,519.00 in the first year of the levy?[3]
