Leon Young (b. July 4, 1967) is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 16th District since 1993.

A former police officer/police aide, Young is a member of a number of organizations, including 100 Black Men, Urban Emphasis Committee, Boy Scouts of America, Harambee Ombudsman Project, Revitalization Committee, Martin Luther King Community Center, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.[1]

Young won re-election in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 16. Young was unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14[2] and the general election on November 6, 2012.[3]
