Democrat Lesia Liss of Detroit is the current state representative for the 28th District of the Michigan House of Representatives serving her first term. Rep. Lesiao attended Henry Ford Community College, where she acquired her Associate’s Degree in Science-Nursing. She then attended the University of Michigan - Dearborn, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies. She is fluent in Spanish and Ukrainian. She is married to Mark.
