Lesil McGuire (b. January 22, 1971) is a Republican member of the Alaska State Senate, representing District K since 2007. She was previously a member of the Alaska House of Representatives from 2001 to 2007.

McGuire earned a B.A. in 1993 and a J.D. in 1998, both from Willamette University in Oregon.

McGuire served as a law clerk with the Oregon Department of Justice from 1996-1998, and as a legal intern with the U.S. Attorney's Office in 1996. [1]

McGuire won re-election in the 2012 election for Alaska State Senate District 11 (K). McGuire defeated Jeff Landfield in the August 28, 2012 Republican primary and defeated Roselynn Cacy (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]

McGuire won re-election to the District N Seat in 2010. She had no primary opposition. She defeated Ed Cullinane and Clinton Desjarlais in the November 2 general election.[5]
