Libby Garvey was a 2011 Democratic candidate for District 30 of the Virginia State Senate.

Garvey earned her BA in Politics with a minor in Economics from Mount Holyoke College in 1973.

Garvey ran in the 2011 election for Virginia Senate District 30. She was defeated by Adam Ebbin in the primary on August 23, 2011. The general election took place on November 8, 2011.[1][2]
