Linda Holmes is a Democratic member of the Illinois State Senate. Holmes was first elected in November of 2006 with her term expiring in 2010. Holmes graduated from the National College of Education with her Bachelor's degree in 1984.

In addition to being a Senator, Holmes is the owner of her home building business.
