Linda Allison was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 40 of the New Mexico State Senate. Allison has lived in New Mexico 32 years and worked as a program manager for Intel for 25 years. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pheonix.[1]

Allison ran in the 2012 election for New Mexico State Senate District 40. She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012. Incumbent Bill Burt (R) ran for re-election to District 33. She was defeated by Craig W. Brandt in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
