Linda Mrosko was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 5th Congressional District of Texas.

Mrosko was defeated by Republican incumbent Jeb Hensarling on November 6, 2012.[1]

Biography

Mrosko earned her AA in Arts from Temple Junior College in 1972. She went on to receive her Business Law Certificate for Legal Assistants from Southern Methodist University in 1986.[2]

Mrosko ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Texas' 5th District. She and Tom Berry defeated Pat Wallace in the Democratic primary on May 29, 2012. Mrosko then defeated Berry in the July 31 runoff election. She faced Jeb Hensarling (R) and Ken Ashby (L) in the general election on November 6.[3][4][5]
