Distancing from President Obama

Puller is one of the Democratic state senators who has distanced herself from Present Obama in light of having a difficult re-election bid in November 2011. She has stated "He’s frustrating me, just like he’s frustrating others out there."[1]

Puller is running for re-election to the District 36 seat of the Virginia State Senate. She was unopposed in the August 23 primary. Jeffrey Frederick and Tito Munoz are running for the seat on the Republican ticket.

2007

On Nov. 6, 2007, Puller won re-election to the 36th District Seat in the Virginia State Senate.[2]
