Linda Whittington is a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives. She has represented the 34th District since 2007.

Whittington works as Executive Director of Communities in School, a nonprofit. She earned her BA from Texas Christian University.

Whittington as a member of Corroll County Economic Development, Economic Development Partnership of Montgomery County, Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, Greenwood-Leflore Count Chamber of Commerce, and the Leflore County Humane Society.[1]

On November 8, 2011, Whittington won re-election to District 34 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. She ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and was unchallenged the November 8 general election. [2]
