Myers is running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Texas' 36th District. She is running against Jerry Doyle, Jim Engstrand, Ky D. Griffin, Mike Jackson, Chuck Meyer, Kim Morrell, Keith Casey, Steve Stockman, Stephen Takach, Daniel Whitton, and Tim Wintill in the May 29, 2012, Republican primary.[2]
