Louisiana Amendment 7 (General), also known as the Election of Tax Assessor in Orleans Parish Act, was on the November 7, 2006 election ballot in Louisiana as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1]

Text of the proposal

The language that appeared on the ballot:

To provide for a single tax assessor in Orleans Parish to be elected at the same time as the municipal officers of New Orleans.
