The Louisiana Business Property Tax Exemption Amendment will appear on the November 6, 2012 statewide ballot in Louisiana as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment. If enacted, the measure would allow local governments to opt-in to property tax exemptions for non-manufacturing businesses that meet certain criteria. The measure was sent to the ballot by the Louisiana Legislature on June 4, 2012.
