Lynmore James (b. August 28, 1937) is a former Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 135 from 1993 to 2013.

James works as a farmer with his own company, Lynmore James Farms.

He is a member of the 5-Point Community Club, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Georgia Agri-Leaders Forum, Georgia Center for Youth Advisory, New Popular Springs Baptist Church, University of Georgia Research Advisory Board, and the West Central Georgia Community Action Council Board.[1]

James ran for re-election to the 135th District seat in 2010. He did not have any opposition in the July 20 primary and no one ran against him in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]
