Mac Schneider is a Democratic member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 42. He was first elected to the chamber in 2008. Schneider serves as Minority Leader in the 2013 legislative session. Schneider served as Assistant Minority Leader in the 2011-2012 legislative session.

Biography

Schneider earned his B.A. in History from the University of North Dakota in 2002. He later received his J.D. from Georgetown University. Schneider previously worked as a staff member for former Representative Early Pomeroy. He is a practicing attorney.

Schneider ran in the 2012 election for North Dakota Senate District 42. Schneider ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 12. He defeated Ross Lien in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
