Madeleine Dean is a Democratic member of the of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 153. She was first elected to the chamber after she won a special election on April 24, 2012, replacing Josh Shapiro (D), who resigned in December 2011 after being elected Montgomery County Commissioner in November 2011.[1][2]

Biography

Dean earned her B.A. from La Salle University in 1981 and her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1984. Her professional experience includes working as a Professor.
