Five statewide ballot questions have been certified for the 2012 ballot in the state of Maine.

• The statewide petition drive deadline for ballot initiatives seeking ballot access in 2012 was January 30, 2012.
• The state signature requirement for indirect initiated state statutes was 57,277.
• Only one ballot initiative submitted signatures for ballot consideration by the deadline.
• The Maine Legislature convened the 2012 state legislative session starting January 4, 2012, and adjourned on April 18, 2012.
• Ballot order has not been set as of early-August 2012.

On the ballot

The following measures have made it onto the 2012 statewide ballot:
