The Maine Bond Limits Amendment was on the 1976 ballot in Maine, where it was approved. It was the 133rd constitutional amendment added to the Maine Constitution.

The amendment was legislatively-referred to the ballot by the Maine Legislature.

The purpose of the amendment was to "increase bond limit on vet mortgage loans from $2,000,000 to $4,000,000; decrease bond limit of Maine School Building Authority from $25,000,000 to 10,000,000."
