A Maine Railroad Excise Tax People's Veto Vote was on the 1928 ballot in Maine as a veto referendum. Voters were asked if they wanted to ratify a recent act of the Maine State Legislature relating to an excise tax on railroads.

Voters ratified the legislation:

  • In favor: 119,762
  • Opposed: 52,350
