Two Manistee County Aging and Care Facility Levy Renewal measures will be on the August 3, 2010 ballot in Manistee County.

The first measure seeks to renew a $.30 per $1,000 of assessed value levy which helps pays for the county's Council on Aging. The levy would be renewed for a further six years.

The second measure seeks to renew a $.50 per $1,000 of assessed value levy which helps pays for the county's Medical Care Facility. The levy would be renewed for a further five years.[1]
