Marc Gergely is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 35.
Gergely attended both the Community College of Allegheny County and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has worked for the Office of Former State Senator Albert Belan and as a Legislative Assistant to State Senator Sean Logan.

Gergely was a candidate for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2000 but was not elected. He also served as School Board President from 1996 to 2002. He was then elected to the Pennsylvania House in 2003. He has served in that position since, representing the 35th District.

On November 4, 2008, Gergely won re-election to the 35th District seat of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He received 20,318 votes, defeating David Posipanka (2,549).[4]
