Marcos A. Crespo (b. July 29, 1980) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 85. He was first elected to the chamber after he won a special election in June 2009.

Biography

Crespo earned his B.A. in Governmental Studies from John Jay College. [1] His professional experience includes being a personal assistant to Assemblyman Ruben Diaz.

Crespo ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 85. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. He also ran on the Working Families Party ticket. He defeated Janelle King, Eduardo Ramirez, and Daniel Zuger in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012. [2][3]
