After considering a run for Governor of Arkansas, Darr announced on February 12, 2013 that he had decided against entering the gubernatorial race, endorsing U.S. Rep. Asa Hutchinson for the Republican nomination instead. As of May 2013, Darr is still mulling over potentials bid for U.S. House representing Arkansas' 4th congressional district, or for re-election to another term as lieutenant governor.[2][3][4]
