Mark Johns is a Republican member of the New York State Assembly. He has represented District 135 since 2011.

Johns holds a bachelor's degree in biology, which he received from St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, NY. After completing his education, Johns worked for the Monroe County Department of Public Health. In 2007, he was elected to the Town of Webster Town Board. There, he served as a liaison to the Webster Public Library.

Johns ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 135. He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on September 13, 2012. He also ran on the Conservative Party and Independence Party of New York State tickets. He defeated David R. Koon in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
