Mark Owens is a Republican member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 17. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

Owens served in the House from 2005 to 2007.


Owens earned his B.S. in Social Science from Troy State University-Montgomery in 1986. He later earned a M.S. in Administration from Central Michigan University in 1996. Owens is currently the Senior Vice President of Meridian Environment Technology. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1975 to 1995.[1]

Owens won election to the North Dakota House of Representatives in the November 2 general election. Owens and Mark Sanford (R) defeated Bernell Bachmeier (D) and incumbent Louise Potter (D).[2]
