Mary Kerwin was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 41 of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Kerwin works as Development and Special Events Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Troy, and as Consultant and Instructor for Michigan Association of School Boards and the University of Michigan-Dearborn Institute for Local Government. She has her B.A. in English from Immaculate Heart College, and Lifetime Teacher Certification from Cal State Los Angeles.[1]

Kerwin ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 41. She ran unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and was defeated by Martin Howrylak (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012. [3]
