Mary Mascher (b. September 22, 1952) is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 77th District since 1995.

Mascher has been a Teacher in Iowa City Community Schools since 1976. She served as Chair of the Johnson County Democratic Party from 1986-1988.

She is a member of the Iowa State Education Association, National Education Association, Democratic Activist Woman's Network, Iowa State Sesquicentennial Commission, and the National Council of State Legislators.[1]

Mascher ran for re-election to the 77th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. She was also unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
