Wolfe ran in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 98. Wolfe ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012. No Republican candidates filed in the district. Wolfe defeated Carolyn Grimes, who filed as a petition candidate, in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
