The 2nd Congressional District of Maryland is a congressional district comprising parts of Harford, Baltimore, and Anne Arundel Counties, as well as small portions of the City of Baltimore.

The current representative of the 2nd congressional district is Dutch Ruppersberger (D).

The 2nd congressional district of Maryland will hold an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 6, 2012.


On November 2, 2010, Dutch Ruppersberger won re-election to the United States House of Representatives. He defeated Marcelo Cardarell (R), and Lorenzo Gaztanaga (L) in the general election.[1]
