will not appear on a ballot
The Massachusetts Right to Self-Government Initiative did not appear on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the state of Massachusetts.[1]

The official summary of the ballot measure read as follows:[1]

This proposed constitutional amendment would allow the people of the Commonwealth, through a law enacted by initiative petition, to vote to delegate their powers concerning international affairs to a democratically elected legislative body of a global federal union of democratic nations. Such a union would have to be open to all democratic nations, and would have to have powers which, while defined and limited to international affairs, would be adequate to insure international tranquility and safeguard human rights.
