Matt Windschitl (b. December 30, 1983) is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 56th District since 2007. He currently serves as an Assistant Majority Leader and was previously an Assistant Minority Leader.

Windschitl has been a Gunsmith with Double Barrel Shooters Supply, Conductor on the Union Pacific Railroad, and a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, Iraq.[1]

Windschitl won re-election to the 56th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He was also unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[2]
