Matt Windschitl (b. December 30, 1983) is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 56th District since 2006. He is Assistant Minority Leader.

Windschitl has been a Gunsmith with Double Barrel Shooters Supply, Conductor on the Union Pacific Railroad, and a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, Iraq.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Windschitl was re-elected to the 56th District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Jan Creasman (D). [2] Windschitl raised $45,287 for his campaign, while Creasman raised $8,120. [3]
