Matt Woodmancy was a 2012 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 18th Congressional District of Illinois. Woodmancy was defeated by Steve Waterworth in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012.[1]

Woodmancy ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Illinois' 18th District. Woodmancy sought the nomination on the Democratic ticket. [2] The signature filing deadline was December 27, 2011, with the primary taking place on March 20, 2012. Incumbent Aaron Schock is seeking re-election on the Republican ticket.

Woodmancy was defeated by candidate Steve Waterworth in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012.[1] Incumbent Aaron Schock ran unopposed in the Republican primary.[1]
