Daughtry won election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 66. Daughtry replaced the winner of the Democratic primary, Alexander Cornell du Houx, who withdrew after the primary election. She defeated Grant Connors (R) and K. Frederick Horch (G) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3]
