Matthew J. Corcoran is a 2014 Republican candidate for District 88 of the Connecticut House of Representatives. He ran unsuccessfully for District 11 of the Connecticut State Senate in 2010.[1]

Elections for the office of Connecticut House of Representatives will consist of a primary election on August 12, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Incumbent Brendan Sharkey was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Matthew Corcoran was unopposed in the Republican primary. Sharkey will face Corcoran in the general election.[2]

Corcoran was uncontested in the August 10 primary. He was defeated by incumbent Democrat Martin Looney in the November 2 general election.[3][1]
