Matthew Mattingly was a Republican candidate for District 6 of the Maine State Senate. The primary election was on June 8, 2010 and the general election was on November 2. Mattingly ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 130.

Mattingly ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 130. Mattingly ran unopposed in the June 12 Republican primary and was defeated by incumbent Linda Sanborn (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Mattingly was defeated by Democratic incumbent Philip Bartlett in the November 2 general election.[2] In the June 8th primary election, Republican candidate Benjamin Gilman ran unopposed and won.[3] However, on June 18, Gilman withdrew his candidacy from the race.[4] Mattingly was then selected to run in Gilman's place for the November 2nd election.
