Max Myers is a Cumberland County minister, and was a Democratic candidate for Governor of Pennsylvania in the 2014 elections.[1]

Biography

Following his graduation from high school in 1971, Myers enlisted in the US Army, serving in Germany for three years. He then returned to school to earn his bachelor's degree and served as a pastor in Assemblies of God churches in a number of cities. In 2001, Myers and his wife opened their first small business, Coffee Company.[2]

Myers ran for the 2014 Democratic nomination for Governor of Pennsylvania in the 2014 elections.[1] Republican incumbent Tom Corbett is running for re-election in 2014.[3] The general election took place November 4, 2014.
