Meghan Owen was a 2012 Green Party candidate who sought election to the U.S. House representing the 35th Congressional District of Texas.

Owen was defeated by Democratic candidate Lloyd Doggett on November 6, 2012.[1]

Owen ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Texas' 35th District. She ran as a Green Party candidate. She ran against Susan Narvaiz (R), Ross Lynn Leone (L), incumbent Lloyd Doggett (D), and William Paul Frederick Wright (I) in the November 6, 2012, general election.[2]

Politico has listed the 35th district race as one of the five primaries to watch in 2012.[3]
