Melanie George is a Democratic member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing the 5th District since 2002.

George works as an attorney with Richards, Layton and Finger, and is an adjunct professor of Law at Widener Law School.[1]

  • HB 196 - " This act makes it a robbery of the most serious degree to lure or entice a person lawfully performing the duties his or her employment to a location for the purpose committing a robbery against such person."
  • HB 292 - "allows any person or persons, jointly or severally aggrieved by any decision of the Justice of the Peace Court made in the exercise of its appellate function, to petition for review by the Superior Court"
