Melvin Henley (b. August 25, 1935) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 5 from 2005 to 2013.

Henley is a business owner. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1958.

Henley is a member of the Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce, and the United States Chemical Society.[1]

Handley announced in December 2011 that he would not seek re-election in 2012, stating, "I believe in term limits, everyone should have a mandatory eight years and then out, and if I believe that then I should get out."[2]
