Melvin L. Stukes (b. March 15, 1948) is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 44. He was first elected to the chamber in 2006.

Stukes served on the Baltimore City Council from 1991 to 2004.


Stukes' professional experience includes working as Special Assistant to Director of the Office of Customer Information, Maryland Transit Administration, Lead Revenue Specialist of the Compliance Division of the Comptroller of the Treasury, and Auditor of the Sales and Use Tax Division. He served in the United States Air Force.
